Today was awesome. I woke up to a response from some dude in New York about an offer I sent him for his deadstock Nike Stussy low pro SB's and he accepted. I got the shoes for $193 shipped including insurance, I'm pretty excited to get them. I've gotten really lucky with getting great shoes for good prices lately, I doubt I'll be so lucky when I try to get the "Paris" and "Pigeon" SB's. For some stupid reason I want the "Babybear" SB's as well. Anyway, I paid for those then got some really good mexican food at a small place in my neighborhood. I discovered this place last summer when I worked for Citi Mortgage because everyone who worked there went to this place for lunch because it totally beats McDonald's, Subway, and Carl's Jr. I remember eating there 3 to 4 times a week, it definitely kills every other mexican restaurant in Tucson. After that, I came home and worked on my math homework for one of my summer school classes. This class is going great grade wise, I can't wait for it to be done with.
Later on, I went to my friends house and we played some tennis at his community center with our other friend. I wish I lived in his neighborhood, it's fucking awesome. I hadn't played tennis in probably 6 months so it was great finally playing again. I'm going to try to play three times a week and start golfing again, it's been too long. After tennis we all went to Chuy's and my friends brother came too, so it was cool seeing him again. Then I just came home and did some more homework. I also preordered the new Portugal, the Man record and bought an Off With Their Heads 7" from Vinylcollective. The new Portugal, the Man album is so good from what I have heard, I can't wait until it comes. It was a pretty good day.
