Broadway is Dark Tonight

I saw Mamma Mia! tonight with my mom, little brother and sister. The show was really good, I liked it a lot. I'm really glad my mom made me see the movie with her last summer, because up until then I thought Mamma Mia! looked horrible. After I saw the movie I instantly loved it and couldn't wait until the Broadway show came to Tucson. If you havn't seen it live yet, I definitely recommend seeing it while it's here.

I wish I lived in New York City so I could go to Broadway shows all the time, there's so many I want to see and it sucks to have to wait for them to tour. I don't know what it is about live theatre that I love so much, it's definitely 100 times better than movies in book. I was really excited to see that three good ones are coming to Tucson next season: Spamalot, Legally Blonde, and Chicago. I've wanted to see Chicago forever and unfourtanitly I missed it last time it was here. So, I'm definitely looking forward to that. I really want to see Wicked, every person I know who has seen it has had nothing but good things to say. I used to get so mad in high school when everytime we would be off for vacation kids would come back and say they went to New York or LA, or even a few went to Paris and saw it. I went to New York City about three years ago for an entire week and every single performance of Wicked was sold out. So, we saw Phantom of the Opera, which was good, but I mean, the one show we saw that week could have been Wicked. I'm sure it will come to Tucson someday, until then I can just read the book.



I hope I have about 3,000 more of these before I die.
