Sucks

I got all of my math homework done today and went to turn it in only to realize that it was due at 12 noon and not 12 midnight, so it's late. Online classes are fucking stupid, they're easy, but so confusing and hard to do.

I think I might be getting fired from my job soon. I called in sick today for the second time ever and my supervisor was all pissed. I legitimently felt sick though, so whatever. It's not like I didn't just want to skip work, which I did but I also felt sick. If I get fired I'm not sure what i'll do, i'll probably just take a grip of summer school classes to occupy my time. I kind of want to work at Citi again. I'm sick of white trash Afni, it's fucking stupid and everything about it annoys me. I think I'm pretty conceited when it comes to my job, but whatever, fuck every there except like 3 people.

I've been listening to Dookie by Green Day a lot lately, it's so good. One of the best concerts I ever went to was Green Day, Blink 182, and Jimmy Eat World in Phoenix when I was in like 6th grade. Too bad tours like that don't happen anymore.

i don't know what to put for a title

Yesterday I was eating at El Paso with Michael and as we were leaving I noticed my car had a flat tire! I don't know shit about cars so I had to call my good friend Travis to come put the spare tire on for me. After that I went to a shop and got it fixed and left for Phoeniz. I went to Burberry before the New Found Glory show and got two polo's since no fucking store or boutigue in Tucson sells Burberry. Then I went to the show, I got there right before Bayside which was exactly what I wanted since I had seen Set Your Goals the night before and Shai Hulud a few years back. Bayside and new Found Glory were both awesome, everyone there was fucking stupid though and kept moshing and fighting during New Found Glory. I wish hardcore kids and bro's didn't like New Found Glory and it was just weird, Drive-Thru Records kids that just stand there when they play. The show was pretty fun though and the drive home went by so quick.

Today I went to school and got pizza with my mom for dinner. I'm so pissed at my dad every week he's on another business trip in places I want to go back to so bad. Last week he went to New York City and San Fransisco back to back. I don't even know where he is this week, but fuck, I want his job.

I have to work tomorrow from noon to 8:30, I hope it doesn't suck, which I know it will, but it's more money for me.

Can't Hardly Wait!

Converge posted a video with a preview for their new album, although it's not even the full band playing it sounds great. I'm really stoked on this. It's funny because a two years or so ago I totally hated Converge and now for the past year I listen to Jane Doe the whole way through usually at least once a week. I can't wait for their new album. Here's the video.

Worst Ever!

My Bloody Valentine Pictures, Images and Photos

I saw this retarded shit tonight, It was fucking terrible. I mean, I was expecting it to be bad, but I thought it was going to be either funny or creative bad, too bad it was just regular bad. If I wouldn't have had popcorn I probably would have killed myself from being so bored. I'm glad I had to wake up at 5:30 am this morning so I was good and tired for this movie, because I definitely fell asleep to make time go by faster, haha. Just some advice, don't see this movie if you havn't already. See I Love You, Man instead!

I Love You, Man!

This movie is seriously perfect in every single way. There wasn't a moment of it I didn't absolutely love. The humor is uniquely fresh and hilarious, the acting is very real, and the story is great. If it wouldn't have been for Coraline, this would have been the best movie in 2009 so far.

After Further Review..

I went ahead and pre-ordered the new Trash Talk 7". The first song is Trash Talk gold, I really like it. I think it's stupid that you can't know the color of the vinyl or any pressing info when you buy it though. I got "version b" whatever that is. I'm going to see I Love You, Man tonight with some friends. I've been looking forward to this movie for a couple month's now, I can't wait. Paul Rudd is such an awesome actor, I really need to buy Role Models.
Today was awesome, everything went perfect. Work went by really fast and was fun because I got to sit next to alright people for once. I'm going to start working a lot of hours since I don't do shit in my free time except buy things and my boss also offered me money to do his Writing 101 and Crimenology homework, haha. I'm really excited for next week, I'll be seeing New Found Glory, Set Your Goals, and Bayside. I don't really care about Shai Hulud, I think they're boring. I'm mainly excited about the "secret show" on Tuesday though. What else..oh..Floorpunch is playing Sound and Fury this summer, so i'm going to that. I didn't even want to go at all, but they make it worth it. I wish Floorpunch was playing at another venue so I could just go to that and not waste my time/ money at S&F, but whatever, the fact they're playing close is good enough for me. Floorpunch was one of the first hardcore bands I ever listened to. I remember when my friends and I were like 15 and all of my friends only listened to Underoath and The Bled and I listened to Floorpunch and Ten Yard Fight, haha. I still loved Underoath and The Bled, but I was into Floorpunch and shit too, which I guess gave me more scene points, haha.

New Trash Talk

Honestly, I don't think their new single, East of Eden, is that bad at all. I don't think I like it enough the pre-order the new 7" though. The other song on it, Son of a Bitch, is terrible. Musically and lyricaly, it all sounds awful. I'm not looking forward to their new full-length lp. I didn't like their self-titled lp or Plagues really, so I doubt this will be good. East of Eden did suprise me though, so maybe it has potential. Trash Talk isn't really a band I care about though, their shows were and are always a blast and Walking Disease was a decent album. They're pretty hyped for no reason at all though, they have nothing really catchy or melodic in their music, it's just fast and pissed with heavy stomp parts, sort of. Their Destroy shirts are cooler than the recent music they're produced.

I Got 99 Problems but a Bitch Ain't One!

Actually, I don't have any problems at the moment. Today was really good. I had to wake up at 5:30 a.m. to be at work by 6 a.m. I got off work at 11:00 a.m. then went to my friend Shane's house, then we went to the mall and got free Subway. I got a regular chicken breast sandwich with....wait for it...steak on the chicken! It was pretty good, even though the steak was kind of haggard. Then Shane and I saw The Reader. This movie was really, really good and I strongly recommend you see it. After we saw the movie I just came home and slept because I was beyond tired since I only got three hours of sleep last night and had to be up so early. Later at night I went to my friend Chris's house and bought Fall Out Boy's Inifinity on High and Limp Wrist's Want Us Dead EP from him. Then I went to Zia Records to see if they had Something to Write Home About on pink yet, they didn't, but they did have the new Academy Is LP, so I got that. I also remembered The Get Up Kids are playing in California in a few weeks and my awesome friend, Maria and I are going! I'm so excited to see The Get Up Kids. I think it's stupid as hell that they're repressing all of their records on the same color's as the first press, but whatever, they're so good, I can not wait to see them. I hope there's a new American Dad on tonight.

Lately,

I've been bummed out over stupid shit. I'm sick of not having a girlfriend and I'm sick of always going for girls that I knowingly know aren't for me. It seriously seems like the only girls that talk to me are girls that I don't like and girls I do like don't like me back or just want to be friends. It's kind of fucking stupid/ annoying. I can't remember the last girlfriend I had that I 100% liked. Maybe it's kind of fucked up to admit but it's true. Girls I like aren't into me and girls that are into me I somehow agree to date them even though at first I usually don't want to. It seems like being nice to girls and not acting like a fucking retard around them gets you nowhere, but if you wear Skin gear and talk about getting drunk you're in the gold zone with girls. I wish the majority girls my age weren't so stupid and just wanted to date nice dudes, hang out, and watch tv on dvd with me. What's really weird is that when I'm in an actual relationship I'm not even that happy and when I'm not I'm not happy either. The only time I'm really happy with dating is when you're sort of like "pre-dating" the girl to see if she's girlfriend material and a month or so into the actual relationship. After that it just stops being fun for me and I just want to be single again because shit starts getting all serious and I'm like oh fuck I'm still young I don't want a serious girlfriend. I probably feel this way because I havn't had a girlfriend in forever that I actually, fully liked. I know that there's cool girls out there and that it's not as bad as it seems but I wish sometimes I could just fast forward 5 years in my dating life and skip all of this stupid teenage shit.

Anyways, that was how I had been feeling lately until David told me about this.....

Photobucket

After seeing/ buying this girls that don't like me can eat my dick and owning this shirt makes me 100% better than them and their shitty boyfriends! Terror > Girls anyday! I'm not kidding if a girl said come on a date with me or see Terror, I would see Terror. Idgaf and I'm not even that sad anymore. Thanks David.

I got this little guy in the mail today. If you havn't heard of this band you need to check them out. It has Chris Conley from Saves the Day and some dude from Say Anything. The music is really good, it's pretty poppy and wonderful but in some parts it gets kind of nu-metal, but for some reason it still sounds great. I got this picture disc from Vinyl Collective, only 1,000 were pressed and this will never be pressed again so get it quick if you care.

I don't know who reads my blogs but,

if you or any of your friends like hardcore bands, mainly, Shipwreck, Champion, and Blacklisted, I'm selling three longsleeves in one auction on E-bay. It's only at a dollar something right now and ends in a little over a day. I need to get rid of these because I don't ever wear them and there's no room at all in my closet for clothes I don't wear. So please, buy these from me or atleast bid and make the current bid go up.

This is why I am an idiot.

I went to see The Academy Is and This Providence acoustic sets tonight. I didn't even know it was all acoustic until I got there. I was pissed at first, but whatever it turned out to be great. So, I'm talking with my friend about Tegan and Sara and all of a sudden this blonde qt turns around and starts talking about Tegan and Sara with us! Then we start talking about The Get Up Kids and other good bands and she says she's from the O.C. visiting and taking a break off school. So obviously she has no friends. She likes really good music, doesn't seem shitty, and is really pretty. Then The Academy Is start to play and after their set she turns around and says, "it was nice meeting you" and I say, "yeah you too" and then I walked out the door and left. I should have got her number and that's why I am an idiot.

Lame!

The Supreme website crashed this morning because so many people were on it. Basically, I stayed up really late and woke up really early for no reason at all. I have to do it again tomorrow too, since the store reopens at 8am our time. So retarded. I'll be so mad if the hats I want sold out in the two seconds the store was open today.

Supreme: Spring 2009

Tomorrow at 11 a.m. eastern the Supreme online store opens with the Spring 2009 line. I can't wait. I seriously have been waiting for this for almost a month now, ever since I saw the preview. Here's what i'll be getting.

See you at 11:00 a.m. New York City.

Movies I Still Need to See

1) Frost/ Nixon

2) The Reader

3) Slumdog Millionaire

4) Notorious

5) Gran Torino

6) Revolutionary Road

I've been slacking lately with movies in case you can't tell. I'm probably going to see all of these this week though. I'll just put the romantic comedies on hold and watch the serious ones.

Awkward?

Today I went to my friends 30th birthday. For the most part it was filled to the top with awkward moments. Basically, it was like Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner at your grandparents home. All of the couples and older guests sit at the "adult" table while you and all the younger and unmarried people sit at the "kids table". My friends and I were all in the living room watching tv and all of these older couples, some even had kids, came and hung out in the kitchen while we all just sat our in the living room and talked with eachother. It was just kind of awkward because in everyone's eyes we probably all looked like we were 10, when in reality we're only 10 or less years younger than them. It's not a huge age difference but still there is definitely a difference. It was just kind of awkward.

During the day I picked up my check from work and saw Confessions of a Shopoholic, it wasn't bad. I always hate going in to the visitors entrance at work to pick up my check because there's all of these people waiting for interviews, filling out applications, or waiting for their orientation. They see me walk in with my badge proving I already work there and just sort of look at me like I'm a jerk for coming into their territory. I also think it's kind of hilarious because they look at me with envious eyes when they see my badge because I have a job and they don't and I'm getting my check right in front of them. It reminds me of the Family Guy episode where Stewie and Meg are grocery shopping and Stewie asks Meg if he can have a quarter to ride the ride out front to make all of the immigrant kids jelous. Haha, I don't know, I just kind of feel like that when I have to go in to the visitors entrance to pick up my check.

I saw Watchmen last night at 12:10 a.m. It was pretty good. I can name a few other movies I've seen recently that I enjoyed more though. However, if you have 160 minutes to kill or are into movies like that I do recommend it.

Dissapointed

Today I went to Dunkin Doughnuts with high hopes for their new waffle breakfast sandwich. I'm a big fan of the McGriddle from McDoanld's so I figured this would be great as well. NO! This waffle sandwich is seriously the worst thing ever. It has bacon, eggs, and cheese between two little Eggo waffles. I have no idea how it could possibly taste so awful but somehow it does. This is one of those things that sounds and looks 100 times better than it actually is. Don't be fooled.

Also, I filmed the video interview for my What Karl Wears blog today. It went really well and I can't wait until it's done being edited/ uploaded so the world can see it.

P.S.- I hate girls.

My other blog, whatkarlwears.blogspot.com is going pretty well. However, a lot of my fans have been asking questions. So tomorrow, What Karl Wears will feature a video interview that this magazine called Sexi Boiz did with me about the blog.
