I want this put to an end

When does this feeling of being bummed out over this shit end? It seriously seems like nothing at all can allow me to escape from this feeling, even Tiffany Dunks. I even know that everything is better this way and that I'm better off with things as they were. For some reason though I just can get over it. I fucking hate it. I wish I didn't care sometimes.

Steel Nation was horrible, so was the show, and a lot of the people there. I wish I would have just gone to Red Robin like every Saturday night. Some band from Texas played too, I was actually kind of excited because the singer had the same Lifetime shirt I have. They turned out to be awful, not even upbeat or fun music or GOOD music, and they covered Gorilla Biscuits and all these people pretended to like them. I can't stand that. Just because a band is old doesn't mean they're good and you have to like them to be accepted in the hardcore community. I'll admit it, I don't like old hardcore, with the exception of Jerry's Kids. I only really like newer hardcore and punk like Kid Dyanmite, Lifetime, Knapsack, and Samiam; I even like really new bands like The Mongoloids and Trapped Under Ice. I fucking love The Mongoloids. I understand that knowing the roots of hardcore and punk is important and everything if you're seriously into it, but I'll never pretend to like bands like Youth of Today and Cro-Mags because honestly, I don't. I respect them, but I don't like their music. I think it's stupid when kids pretend to be so into old hardcore bands, like wearing around Bad Brains shirts and jumping around to Black Flag covers just to make an image for themselves and try to make themselves feel more legit in the scene. No one cares, it's so annoying, and anyone with a brain can tell they have no clue what's even going on. They look like bigger tools in Bad Brains shirts then they would if they just wore Death Before Dishonor shirts.

Free Pancake Day 2009

This years Free Pancake Day was by far the most extreme ever. Travis, Todd, Corey, and I went to all five IHop's in Tucson. Travis and I also got a great idea to drink Powerade so our vomit would be different colors. The entire time was seriously the most miserable time I have ever had, I even went to the bathroom to blow my nose and goddamn tears came out of my eyes because I felt so sick. All week I've been on a stupid caffiene high. All I had today was an Espresso Truffle latte from Starbucks this morning and I'm coming off this week long caffiene high, I feel like shit. And, people keep texting me confusing shit, which is making me feel even more awful. And, I've been listening to Shockwave and Sheer Terror non-stop today. Crazy day, can't wait for tonight. I need an energy draank.

My Diamond Supply x DVS's came today. They're fucking awful, I'm wearing them right now. DVS are seriously the most uncomfortable and shittiest quality of shoe on Planet Earth. I don't know what was going through my mind when I saw them on on the website last week. Look for them on E-bay sometime soon, once I find out how much they go for. Goddamnit.

Really Good Day!

Worked for only a half hour during the day and actually took it seriously for once.

- Got 1/2 off wings at Hooters with Mike.

- Went to the mall and hung out with Maria at Bananna. Then, I went to Zumiez and hung with Shane for a bit.

- Finally printed out last semesters grades and this semester's schedule for my dad. Since he's been asking for 2 months.

- Signed up for another math class that doesn't start until March, so I can get it out of the way.

- Sold two Have Heart records on e-bay for a total of $46.00

- Decided I'm going to save my money and buy a car soon.

Tried something a little differant

I didn't go to my Popular Music class this morning because we were just watching a documentary and that's boring. So, I went to McDoanld's and got a tasty sausage, egg, and cheese McGriddle and one of their new little latte things. The iced carmel latte is ok, but Starbucks is still better. Don't believe the hype and the nice pictures of these McDoanld's lattes. They will only let you down.

Why are people on E-bay so stupid?

I seriously get so mad when I'm watching something and retards keep bidding on it when it still has five days left. There's no point in bidding on something before the auction is almost over. No one cares about how high you bid until you actually win it. Everyone should not be allowed to bid on something until the final five minutes. I'm watching a test press of Cheap Shots, Youth Anthems right now and all these idiots keep bidding on it and it still has three days left. Don't they know that it will be cheaper if they just wait to place their bid until the final minutes. People on E-bay are seriously so retarded. Unless the bid you place is over $100 don't bid until the last second. It's only cool when I'm selling something and people bid all wild on it and there's still two days left.

I bought what I thought would be an awesome Blacklisted hoodie from this bitch in Israel a few weeks ago on E-bay. I finally got it today and discovered she had sewn the sides and arms on the hoodie to make it custom fit, didn't mention this anywhere in the descritption, and sold it to me. I've wanted this paticular design for so long and finally found it only to end up betrayed. I hope she gets suicide bombed.

I'm glad I checked my e-mail today because there was a message from Diamond Supply Co. saying the Diamond Supply x DVS's were going on sale in their webstore at noon today. I definitly picked up a pair, they look great. I fucking hate skateboarding shoes, but these look really good and aren't all puffy and stupid. They're also Gucci themed, so how could I go wrong?! This band's pretty good, I just checked the out today because it seems like every time I buy something from Bridge 9 or go on any hardcore website I see they're being promoted. They're actually pretty good though, it sort of reminds me of the new Verse album. I don't really like the new Verse, but Defeater sounds alright.

I hope this month is as good as the last. 2009 is off to a great start. My birthday is in ten days, I'm pretty excited/ bummed. I hate getting older. I wish time didn't exist so I would never know how old I really am.

On a less thought provoking note, I pre-ordered the new Loved Ones lp "Distracted" tonight. I really like the way it sounds, I downloaded it also. I can't wait until it comes in the mail, I really hope it's color vinyl. It's hard to tell though because I got it from revhq and they don't have shit for pressing info.

Work is going well, it's really easy to lie to people and tell them what they want to hear to make them end the conversation. Daniel Tosh says it best, "start lying about everything there's no reason to ever tell the truth." I seriously don't care about anything any customer at work tells me, so I hardly put any effort into trying to fix their problem, I do the bare minimum to get them feel good enough about the conversation so they hang up. I don't think this makes me a bad person, I don't know these people and none of their shit is my personal problem. I seriously doubt my boss cares either, he can hardly even take the time to help me during my first week so why should I care about helping the customers. A lady told me, "good luck finding a new job" on Saturday because she was disconnecting her service with Verizon on Monday. As if the entire Verizon corporation is going to fall without her as a customer. These people are fucking idiots, that's why I don't give a fuck about any of them. All I care about is my paycheck, I do the minimum work I need to do in order to keep my quality score at a decent level so I don't get fired. That's all about that.

I found this band called Life Rocks! today. It has members of Latterman (one of my favorite bands) in it. The music basiclly sounds like an acoustic Latterman. If you're into that band, Life Rocks! is definitly for you.
